Ok, I'm having an issue with a couple of monti's in my nano. A rainbow and sunset.

As you can see they are not doing to well. The rainbow is 13" below the lights and the sunset is 11". The lights are 4x24" T5. The sunset looked good for the first couple of weeks or so. Encrusted nicely then started to go downhill. The rainbow never looked good from the get-go. After a week or so I split the piece and placed one in the other tank and it took off(pic) below.
My param's
PH- 8
KH-8
Phosphate-.04 (hanna)(no nusiance algae)
Mag-1440
Calcium-440
Ammonia-0
N02-0
NO3-0

Here's the same corals in my other tank 7" under T5's

The rainbow is actually a frag split from the one in the nano. The sunset is from a different reefer.

All SPS looks better in my 44g vs the nano. The nano is the "cleaner" tank. Is it possible that it is too clean. I'm kind of at a loss here. I solve one problem and another creeps up in the nano. This tank is far and away more disappointing then the 44 which I literally just threw together. I really can't wait to get rid of it, and get the 90 in place. Anyway if anyone has suggestion let me know. Thanks in advance for the help.

No major swings that I have seen. It been pretty stable. The nano is a 20H and has about 6 months on it.
Some people on another forum believe I need more light. Im gonna move it up a bit tonight. see what happens

Id also like to add that it currently under Blue+, Coral+, Blue+, Purple+ front to back. These are located midway back in the tank.
