Anyone have an Ice Fire Echinata ? (or is it Fire and Ice...i can't seem to find a definitive order to the name)
I picked one up a few months back at MA and had it high up, but towards the rear of my tank. I was never totally happy with its coloration there and honestly couldn't see it either. It was a tad hidden by other stuff. Tonight I moved it lower and up front too so I can actually see it, but I'm still not sure I'm happy with the placement. Curious where people have put this SPS. It has great glow, under certain light it seems. I only see a tad bit of polyp extension though.
I could move it about 2 inches higher where it will also be in a pretty direct flow path from an MP10 about 10-12 inches away. I have a pink millie there now whose polyps sway wonderfully in the breeze. I could move that down or to the side if the IceFire would be more happy in that spot.
My SPS are generally all flourishing, including the acros.
Curious to hear from real experiences from people here. I've been googling a lot and see a lot of varied stories.
TIA!
