Meteor shower on same rock as other sps?

Got me a nice piece, although i have had bad luck with other encrusting, fast moving corals suffocating other corals on its way. Never had this one though.
I placed it on this rock where i have other frags and need to know if it is a bad idea while i have time to remove it. It would look nice if it only encrusted around them, but it is better to make sure before i start losing pieces.

Your best bet is to place it on its own rock or sand bed. Also glue another frag disc to the existing one so it can spread....
