Sps question

I noticed tonight that when my lights are off all of my Sps have there polyps out but when the lights are on they aren't out as much is this normal?

Perfectly normal... In nature most SPS behave the same to protect themselves from all the nipping fish that are out in the daylight. Mine act the same way.. Because I have Angels and butterflies in my reef. They don't have any PE during the daytime even my Millie's don't have PE, but are growing and colorful just the same.
