Anybody have a guess on what this is

It's an Anacropora, but not sure of the exact species. It's a fast grower and doesn't encrust well so secure it. They're not often seen and often mistaken for a deep water Acropora. I had one a few years ago.

yea you are right cant find it any where and it is fast and very thin. I was told it looked like a nassuda but the base is more thin then my raseberry nasussda. In going to call it cully's purple hart nassuda lol

Definitely not an Acropora Nasuta. They are commonly called a Briar coral. You can call it Cullys Briar patch. ....

Its diff not Larry Jackson. I use to have one and its not the same. I have been getting a lot of nana or nasuta so far
