20K 400W MH lights...anyone running them? any affect on SPS

Am in the process of buying these bulbs as Dr. Mac uses them to maintain good coloration in SPS. Was considering running 250W Iwasaki's side by side with them for a total of 6 bulbs with 50/50 VHO's over a 180 gal tank. The main goal is to maintain good coloration of the SPS ie. pinks/purples/blues/greens then to promote growth, then have the tank not look too blue. Know that good skimming, high ph and alk are important. Was gonna go fishless at first but hear some kind of feeding is beneficial. Any sharing of experiences would be appreciated.

If you are going with the 20K bulbs I heard that they do MUCH better on a HQI ballast than a standard ballast.

Yeah, Sanjay got about 25% more out of 'em using a blueline eballast or HQI vs a regular ballast. Some guy was running both 20K's and Iwasaki's in his hood, 6 bulbs total. Wonder how his corals are doing.
