Ok, that's the craziest closed brain I've seen, assuming colors haven't been garfed ;)

That's actually from a tank of a MARS member named Marc Daniels. He says it colored up like that after being in his tank a while. I would show you some more pics of it but I can't search the site they are located on <cough cough> right now.

He cut two frags off IIRC but they both died. :(

Matt, that is correct. It looks like fragfarmer.com had the same color morph available, but it has been sold. After my shipment arrives today I'll take a picture of both corals side/side for comparison.

Colors are not P shopped other than to resize the image.

All right, for the peanut gallery I have two pics this evening. The top pic is my coral, and it does not show the back side where I took the frags from. But it has healed just fine. The bottom coral is the one I just received from Eric at Fragfarmer.com, and as you can see they are certainly the same color morph.

Can you SAY PHOTO SHOP WORKED FOR ME!!!! LOL!!!

Er...

Colors are not P shopped other than to resize the image.

I think it's more likely a little over-exposure on the first images. The later photos look closer to real life. Being first to yell photoshop doesn't win any prizes.

Whichever way you cut it that's a fine looking coral.

Niether does photo shoping.
LOL!
It is truely a nice piece, and the second picture taken by the owner obviously proves it. SOOOooooo since I read the owners post and quoted (with picture) the person whom is NOT the owner.
No harm no foul. LOL!

FragMaster-

The first photo that Matt posted is the actual photo that I took. The first photo was taken in a very shallow tank, with the coral directly beneath at 175w 20k XM.

The second photo was taken in the bottom of my 300g with the coral 30" under a 250w 15k XM.

The last two photos, where it appears much more realistic in color, were also taken in the bottom of my 300g with the two corals 30" under a 250w 15k XM.

I think there are two possible reasons to explain the difference in the pics...first neither of them were P shopped to enhance their appearance. All I did in P shop was resize the image. I can't remember which camera I took the first two pictures with, so the first two pics may have been taken with a different camera than the last two. If they were all taken with the same camera, I may have forgot to adjust my white balance in the first two shots. The last two shots are very factual representations of how they look.

I may have also had the camera exposure settings tweaked in the first photos. I was trying to take pics of a high Acro and the light colored tips were a stark contrast to the main colony color. I just couldn't get them to appear rrealistic in a decent shot, and I rememebr playing with the exposure. I may have taken the first pics with the exposure setting way out of whack. Regardless, it wasn't my intention to misrepresent the coral.
