Well, this is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite acquisition over the WMC weekend. Tubs' Pink Sprinkles http://www.exoticreefs.us/repository/tu ... nkles.html :

It's an unusual color morph of an Astreopora genus coral that has developed hot pink blotches over a neon green body 8O

I'm just being silly. The two other things I got from WMC was a frag from YourReef and 4 bags of SeaChem salt

The Pink Sprinkles was the prize.

I've always liked this coral. The only thing that holds me back from seeking one is the price and the very slow growth rate.

I didn't know it was a slow grower. I like the fact that it's a low light coral. It'll allow me to brighten up the dark side of one of my LR islands

No, they were much much less. I know on Friday night Mermaid Aquarium was selling their aquacultured colonies for $40 each, I think by Sunday they were 3 for $100. They also sold 2 JBJ nano tanks and stand for $200! I was able to get 3 zoo colonies for $30 total. I think everything was discounted and all the vendors were very generous to the attendees.

Honestly, if you didn't attend the conference you missed out on a ton of great opportunities.

John was an attendee. He didn't have a booth, and I don't think he brought anything else to sell.

There was quite a bit of livestock to be had though. I'd say the prices were fairly close to wholesale. CPR had some stuff that was below wholesale. All the drygoods had special show prices, except for ROWA. Man, that stuff's expensive 8O

If you were in the market for Lumenarcs, this would have been the best time to get one.

Karl, did you catch Eric's talk. He briefly mentioned a salt study that he was doing, and it sounded like one salt was far better than the rest..... I think he will be releasing results soon.. then I think I will be getting salt B in his study....
