I'm going to setup the reeftank again, it's been FOLR for 4 years

we started with a big water change to get thing stable, I think I'm going to remove all the SAND, I've got big tubs to move everything into

I'm in need of a new 400w halide bulb, I've got a reflector and ballast, one end will be high light, the other lower light

sugestions? I need a good do it all bulb, thinking 20kish, we will be keeping montipora only, maybe a stag or two, but mostly monties

I am also in need of calcium, I'm undecided, reactor or kalk stir, I've got the co2 setup already, but no reactor sized for the tank

thoughts on calcium/alk ?

One last upgrade, I need a new skimmer, I'm thinking recirculation for the sps, sugestions on what will fit under a 75g AGA stand? Price is a concern, buying a lot of stuff at once

I'm using the classic Radium 20Ks again. They're working out great. If you want to pony up, I liked the Aquaconnect 14Ks. It's just too expensive :P

how are the hamilton 14k's on regular cap/coil ballasts?

I think I'm gonna setup my HSA1000 on the tank so I dont have to buy anything, I dont want to drill so I'm just gonna pvc & prime the blueline 55 and hope it does not cavitate too bad

so all I really gotta do is buy some pvc and a bulb, and I should be good to go for some coral

wife wants a rose for our perc pair too
