okay i'm getting worried. I see these orange bug like things on 2 of my SPS corals. Can anyone provide further insights into these creatures. Is it essential to get rid of them? I first noticed them 3 days ago. I want to knock them out, and do it soon while there aren't a lot of them.

Thanks!

If so, red bugs.

If they are very hard to see with the naked eye they are most likely red bugs. Otherwise common red planaria is all that comes to mind but they dont usually hang out on healthy corals.
If you do a search for red bugs, or interceptor you will come up with a million results.

yup I have red bugs 8O I will treat the entire tank with interceptor. Does anyone recommend taking out shrimps, snails, and hermits during treatment?

BTA will be fine. If you do not take your shrimp and crabs out there is a chance they will get killed by the treatment. My hermits made it through the whole deal, but my cleaner shrimp died on the last round.

The shrimps in my 120 have survived four treatments in a year. The shrimp and hermits in my 40 died by the next morning of the first treament.
