New 240 build

So I finally took down my 90 gallon tank and moved up. I picked up my 240 a couple weeks ago.

Once I got it into my 2 bedroom condo I thought that I made a huge mistake.

Then I had a guy start building my stand. Made it super strong and 34 inches high so I could see it while sitting down.

My wife was paranoid and thought it would go through the floor. I was kinda nervous too so I filled it slowly.

I finally got my lighting together from a 2 good guys here on MR. Decided to go with 2 AI hydras and 1 hydra 52.

I hooked up my brand new Reef octopus Regal 200 ext skimmer today. That thing is a beast.

Today I finished all the plumbing and filled it all up with live stock from my 90 and a Ton of rock.

sump are is finally all done. I'm running a big deltec carbon reactor and also hooked up a reef octopus gfo reactor. Working good so far.

yesterday I started paneling the stand. it's coming out nice. Needs to be stained.

if you want to hide that over flow, i used a piece of static cling dark window tint.
i have a piece if you want, or i got it at wallmart.

That's a great idea. I was also thinking about spraying it with plasti dip. That's what I did on the back of my 90 and it seemed to work well

i didn't want any thing permanent cause it would be hard to clean the over flow.
this stuff peels off and sticks back on for cleaning.
