Well, I've put it off again and agian, but I guess it's time :D I keep waiting for that moment when my tank will be "ready" to show, but with my expectations that will never happen. So, I just shot it in the buff, in it's raw uncleaned, un-perfected state for show-and-tell.

I guess I'll start with specs:

Tank: All-glass 65 gallon 36 x 18 x 23
Heater: 300w Viaaqua
Skimmer: VS3-24 LifeReef w/Mag 9.5 pum
Overflow box: LifeReef
Refugium: CPR 24" HOT w/maxi-jet 12 and DIY 1/2" balvalve repair.
Algae of preferance is chato :D
Flow: Closed-loop. Return pump is a Little Giant 3MDQX-SC hooked up to a OM Squirt. Return line is 3/4" vinal tubing. In-tank I use Loc-Line for direction. I use one Maxi-jet 6 for flow in the back of the tank where there are always dead spots.
Sump: 20gallon Long All-glass with DIY baffles.
Lights: Aqua Medic pendant with 250 20,000k (I am so sad  we just got the electric bill back and we can't afford to keep both up. I'm limited to one pendant, and I might even have to go back to my old compact strip)

Life :
I have about ? 120lbs of liverock? I never tallied the final weight.
a 2 1/2" sand bed of fine argonite
2 b & w Saddleback Clowns
1 Flame Angel
1 Stupid Little hawkfish I can't catch!
a crud-load of waving siver-tiped Xenias
2 types of pipe organ corals
7 types of zoes
3 types of green star polyps
1 green and red Favia
1 neon green and lavender moon coral (my fave)
2 types of frog spawn
1 hammer coral
5 types of mushrooms (because I'm such a newbie  )
1 plate coral
1 flame scallop (don't shoot me I bought it before I knew they were hard. I've had it for 7 months now, so hopefully I'm doing something right).
1 abalonie
1 sand sifting star
and a tun o snails and hurmet crabs

Time for some pictures. The real fun part :D

Nice looking tank. I like the Hammer and Frogspawn. I have the same colors of each in my tank and they are some of my favorite.

Great shots! Nice coral choices too. I like the light and shadow the MH makes in your tank. Very 3D looking for some reason.

Bethany,

Great looking setup! Sorry about the electricity monster MHs! Mine produce a ton of heat too, need to put fans in this week. Anyway, back to your tank :)

I really like the pink zoas and the frogspawn. Also, what is that small circular green thing on the left hand side about 1/2 way up? Is that a green shroom or something else?

It's a green striped shroom. They're nice because they don't split as fast as some of the other. Pritty easy to control, unlike the marbled ones.... I really liked having both MH up. The frogspawn was nuts then, but it got too expensive for the student budget  I'm going to have to move the hammer and lower frgspawn up to compensate :x
It was @$^%&%$!#$%$^ hell to get the arches up that way (3am kinda night :D ). I didn't use any epoxy and believe it or not the structure is very stable.
