Im looking for 150w bdoubs ended bulbs. I am currently running Phoenix 14k.

-Are there any other bulbs around the same color that will run better on my system, better colors in coral?

I run my MH about 8 hours a day.

Well different brands or temperatures can have different affects on corals. Which colors in particular are you not happy with?

I ran Phoenix for three years and then switched to Reeflux 12K and got a different result in regards to colors. I had a difficult time deciding on which bulb to buy this year and ended up repurchasing Reeflux 12K. I was considering trying the EVC 20K, but decided to try it on my smaller system first to see if I really like it.

Good luck with your decision. With so many choices, and the expense of the bulbs, it's not easy deciding.

If you're looking for a bulb around the same color, what will make a different bulb run 'better' on your system? What makes 'better colors in coral?'? Sounds like it ain't broke. Why try fixing it? I like the Phoenix bulbs too.

If you're just looking for a change to have a change, then the Radium might be a viable option. Whatever it is, you'll only be looking at it for 6-8 months, then you change it out again anyway. Or sooner if you don't mind shelling out the greenbacks.
