hey just got these two corals...dont know what the one is, and the other i know is monti, but is it a superman or a fake?

dont know the name...

monti...superman? or something different?

I think its:

Green Digitata
Montipora Capricornis

Danae as far as I know is encrusting. Based on the pic, it looks like its forming a plate, but he positioned it upward instead of laying horizontal.

see i was going to leave it stright up because i origionally had it flat but its undercoat would never open...

should i try it again?

It actually won't matter. If you leave the way it is, it will start growing horizontal from there, possibly forming multiple layers (assuming under ideal water/light conditions and a good amount of time) which can look nice

i dont think its a Capricornis. Caps polyps r only 1 sided.

Caps are mostly 1 sided, but they will still have polyps on the other side if the other side is alive, I have a few different types which are living proof.
