58 Oceanic RR history

I am looking for information on the history of the 58 gallon Oceanic RR system. I have seen tank pictures with the overflow in the center and the overflow to the left. Was there a certain time frame in which they were being produced one way or the other? Believe it or not, Oceanic doesn't even show decent pictures of the overflow for their current 58 RR. Maybe it is because one can order it however they like, not sure.

My tank came with it in the back left corner, I probably bought the tank 5 years ago.
