Hi guys so I'm fairly new to fish keeping. But I feel like I'm doing well, I started with a 20 gallon and a month later moved right up to a 180 fresh water. Nothing has died on me and never any real issues. I'm running a FX6 and a UV sterilizer slowly being moved along with by a fluval 105. I just got another FX6 that I will be hooking up. MY QUESTIONS ARE first is what else can I use other then bio balls, bio max and carbon to get my water to the next level of quality? And 2. I'd like to minimize the tubes and hoses inside my tank i like the clean seamless look. So my idea was to try to run them in series or in line with each other. ie the intake of the first filter is in the water the outflow of that filter goes directly into the intake of the second filter and the outflow of that filter goes into the water. Not sure if this is a good idea. Some one HELP!!
