How does the light affix to that bracket? Did you drill and tap the side of the heatsink?

It all depends on which bracket ur talking about. Look at both my threads I have 1 kind that is attach to the heat sink and the other 1 that are not

Yea the one pictured actually can slide in and out of the bracket perfectly without having to drill the heat sink. It's not so heavy that it would concern you, it will hold fine because the way the heat sink is designed it holds on to the bracket perfectly.

Well I hung mine finally . I added 2 alluminum bars so i could hang it parallel to tank.
