Thanks for all the advice provided.

You probably know it, but firefishes are very good jumpers...

I know purple firefish can jump but I have a cover glass over the whole tank except for about 2" square by the side of my skimmer where filter pipes come in and out, about 4" from surface to top of hood.

Well one of my clowns jumped out the other night (and died) through this gap. I have now put a powerhead(filter canister) there so the only way up and out is into the output resovoir of the skimmer (prism).

So back to the shop for a new clown.

How do you all think my remaining clown will react to a newcomer, he's swimming about like mad as if looking for the other at the present.

Are they likely to fight as on has been in the tank for a couple of weeks and will a new clown cause a problem with the firefish which was added after the clowns?

Any help will be appreciated

Paul
