Apex w battery backup

How do those of u w the apex (or other controllers) set up the controller so that if the power fails, certain devices continue working.
What devices do u run in the event of a power outage?

Can the apex detect if power fails and only keep the heaters and power heads and some lighting?

I haven't tried this yet, but in reading --

Purchase a 12v supplemental power supply for your Apex headunit. Connect that to a wall outlet. Connect your EB8 to an uninterruptible power supply.

Enable Power monitor enable in Misc Setup. This will enable power loss sensing off the 12v power source.

In outlet programming, you would append the following:

If Power Apex Off 001 then On

or If Power Apex Off 001 then Off for devices you want off during a power outage.
