Hello All,

This past sunday I changed one of my actinic bulbs to a 10,000k sunpaq 24w HOT5 bulb from a Geisseman Actinic 420nm.

I would think with the change in color temperature of light, the corals would respond better and grow better but instead some have responded by not extending fully. One of my frogspawns is doing great. But my 7 head frogspawn isn't extending as much as it had before.

Any theories? Corals are just adjusting to the light???

Sometimes you need to acclimate them to new light depending on how much different it is. You can do it by screening the light and then slowly reduce the screening over a weeks time. Tou should be able to find articles about it.
