I just got a whole bunch of dead coral and some african cichlid rocks. But the problem is that there is a whole bunch of green algae and i cannot remove it by scrubbing it. I heard that you can use Beach to bleach them. Is that true? Is it safe?

Use a diluted solution of regular bleach. I believe you should have something like 10% bleach. Let it sit for a day, and rinse in water, and I would let it soak for another day to get what ever might be left off. I would do this for the corals, not sure about the rock. Mike

I've done it in the past too. The rinsing & letting it air dry for a day or two is important.
As extra insurance to get rid of the chlorine, I add Super-Chlor in the final rinse (it's a concentrated chlorine remover).
