I dont' mean like harassing or being scared. Just are they normal jumpers?

Hi bud ;-)
There's no normal jumper fishes except maybe for the Exocoetidae or Flying fish that are seldom kept...so basically any fish can jump out of a tank if scared, or swimming away from another fish, vibrations on the house can scare and cause the fish to jump out of the tank, vibrations caused by cars passing by on the road nearby, shadows made by leaves or branches or trees waving with the wind, be it day light or night lit by street lamps, can scare fishes, you or any one in the house just passing close to the tank, or doing a sudden movement can scare fish ans cause them to jump....so its a reaction of the fish to protect it self, only the fish is not in the ocean....well KathyC as the solution for that, have a look here Tank cover (
