Hammer Coral Dip

I have a hammer coral that has bryopsis all over it. Can I dip the coral in peroxide to kill of the bryopsis or perhaps coral dip (Coral Rx)? Im trying to get rid of all this stuff im just concerned cause I dont want to kill the hammer.

I don't have first hand expirience with this, but I have read that you can't peroxide dip hammers, torches or frogspawn. Not sure about Coral Rx.

I think that the peroxide would have negative effects on the hammer coral but then again i am not sure which is why i asked. :thrash:

I dipped all my corals, including hammers, frogspawn etc in Coral RX without any problems. Usually 8-9 minutes.

Why not get to the root of the problem! Buy yourself a large bottle of Kent tech-m and raise your magnesium to 1600 ppm and maintain that level..treating one coral in a tank infested with bryosis is pointless. .just my Opinion

already tried Tech M and it didnt do anything

So raise it to 1800 ppm and keep it that high...I know someone that raised there magnesium to 2000ppm with no loss of corals..so 1000's and 1000's of people used Kent tech-M with success in beating bryosis and your not?
