I have two different varieties of branching hammer corals on one piece of rock and they are starting to encroach on each other. Their tentacles have already touched each other, but they don't appear to be stinging or damaging one another. Is it ok to leave them close together since they are in the same family of corals or will they eventually start stinging one another?

I have had them touching with no ill effects, however I read somewhere else that is not always so. If you see them touching already then it most likely is ok.

Yeah, i have a bunch of hammers and frogs feeling each other up for months and none of them seem to care. But its always good to monitor the situation from time to time.
