Hey, ever notice how the first dorsal fin on N. helfrichi and N. decora (the purple) are stubby, and the red's is nice and filamented? I've always wondered why that is. I lay awake at night thinking about it, in fact. :lol:

FYI: I've also once owned this freakishly big Helfrichi before with a different face (looked a lot more "mean") and much more purple on the body. I'm not sure where that giant came from, but it was really really cool .... until it jumped New tank will not have carpet surfers; I've made sure of it.

Len- wow, incredible fish- I would love a Helfrichi for my tank, but will have to settle for Purple for now. Colors are amazing too, congrats!
