How tough are brain corals ?

A buddy of mine with a nano had a red/ green brain coral that was slowly loosing color ,it has all the flesh with some of the color as of now ,I took it from him last night to see if I can bring it back in my tank ...My question is,is it possible for it to make a comeback?Is some coloring enough to save it?I cannot not take pics it will not show good..Thanks

I had gotten a green brain from a friend that was in real bad shape and in a few months it turnerd right around and now is in great shape. so i would say yes. dont give up

You can also feed it. This may help pep it back up quicker.

Also dose Iodine to Pep it up a bit.

Does it sound crazy if I said it looks like it is coloring up already???I can swear more green an pink is coming out ...my brother also pointed it out to me...
