Invert ID: Sea Spider???

I found this tiny thin thing....
Is currently (and during picture) in a small plastic cup, approx 1.5" across.

What is it? I assume sea spider (are they "reef safe"?).

I cant find a body or face even.

Yes, i found it in my tank, ive been trying to get it for about 2 weeks, but as it was hanging out on a small clam that is anchored into a rock, I could not remove it until tonight when the spider ventured onto a zoa colony.
