MaxSpect Gyre VS Vortech

I Have 2 mp40s on my 220 but seen this pump on a tank ... looking into this pump...just wondering which you guys feel is better and why..and which size I would need

I use both and they complement each other well. Very different flow patterns from each device. The Gyre is very wide, where the Vortech is more focused.

I'm looking to get one of these for my 220. With all the problems i'v heard amout the maxpect, and all the good jebao products i'v bought why not. At half the price, definitely.

you think only 1 for a 220 because I was thinking maybe 2

Think both types, and 2 votech mp40 would be best imo. The maxpect is a broad flow, best for across the surface, imo. To get flow around the rest of the tank a traditional circ pump like vortech would be better to point so the flow goes around the rocks and whatnot.
Gotta say too, that i'd go with jebao rw15. not only is it a third the price, but you can point them, unlike vortech that only points out from glass straight.
I got two rw20 for my 220 and even on lowest setting it's too much and limits how i can point em.
2 rw15, with a maxpect or crossflow = awesome
