Pump help

Looking for some help, I am making my water in the garage and am lloking for a pump that will pump water up t the second story of my house. I would like the pump to take a garden house connection. Was thinking about a regular basement sump from the local plumbing supply or Lowes. Any thoughts

Make sure the pump has a plastic impeller. The pumps we use are made for saltwater yo be ran thru them, for the most part anyway. You should look at external pumps like red dragons and blue line. They have a bigger output then the size of a garden hose tho

I see some plastic encased pumps with plastic impeller at Lowes, do you think .33 HP will push it up to the second story?

measure the height where your pumping to, that will give you the head pressure. then read the specs on the pump. like said before i would use a pump made for the hobby.
