Replacement DI Cartridge Experience

I recently found out that my supplier, who will go nameless for this chain, was selling me replacement SpectraPure DI cartridges that were NOT from Spectrapure. I only found out after almost two years of frustration with short lifespan of the cartridge. Lucky I got in touch with Charlie from SpectraPure who identified the problem.

So - be wary of any "replacement" cartridges, especially if they don't have the SpectraPure label on the product. There ARE major difference in the product quality.

I found that the colour change DI cartriges don't last nearly as long as the mixed bed type.

I use Kent Marine mixed bed now. I buy from marinedepot.com
