Setting Up A Qt Tank Have A Few ???s

I Have A 10 Gal Tanks I Want To Use As A Qt, ( I Have Been Luck Havent Needed One Yet ). I Have A Question About Filtration What Should I Use? I Want To Use Just A Hang On Tank Filter , What Type Of Lighting Do I Need, Can I Use A Reg. Strip Light ? Do I Need To Put Any Sand Or Liverock In It?

A Foam air driven filter is good enough, power filter is good as well, nothing fancy, no sand, no rocks a peice of pvc or 2 for shelter, standard fluorescent light. I use a biowheel and when I break down the qt i place the biowheel itself in my sump
