Urgent Brooklyn help

Hi all, this is a shot in the dark but - I set up my system recently and just tested Alk and it’s incredibly low ~6dkh. About to head on a small trip and would like to make a small adjustment before I leave if possible.

Ive got my all-for-reef on its way, but until then if anyone in the Brooklyn area has some and would be willing to sell/give a small ~10-20ml let me know!

I’m at near prospect, and could bike to you! Let me know

you can always use some baking soda for small adjustment only. or can make soda ash with baking soda by baking the baking soda at 400°F for 1 hour let it cool and mix 1 1/2 to 1 gallon of RO water and you have alkalinity mix for dosing. same as you would get from BRS https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/cont..._ilmjtktH7zzP7FO8BVKgNo40tl12Tas6wOYeG75rG2gb

I wouldn’t even worry about it untill you get back that’s just me low alk has never stressed me out i tested my 20 gallon mushrooms Zoas gsp alk was 4dk I didn’t notice I had run out of kalk for over a month. I took a picture

I tend to agree with crackcorals. If you are taking a short trip, just wait until you return. Alk spikes are going to cause way more damage than a few more days of alk at 6. For what its worth, I invested in a doser and it made a world of difference.
