Was given 2 baby fish - what are they??

hey guys, my little brother got me 2 of these little guys, about .5 inch long. I currently have them in my frag tank as I didn't have my QT up and running. Anyone know what they are?

looks like a golden mono..great fish I love them I have been looking for a juvy I have not seen any around mine just died recently =/ Does your friend have more?

He got them when he was visiting the hamptons. And I know that it's not smart but by the time i knew they were already in my hands. I think I'll have to pick up some brine shrimp tomorrow.

Glad I saw this thread, i've been wanting to find out if the tropicals are in the hamptons yet! Going out this weekend.

+1 Butterfly fish. Used to see them all the time in the Bahamas. Makes sense they could come up the coast riding warm water.
They also stay in pairs. Cool find.
