I checked my water it's reading like this ph- 8.4 nh3/nh4= clear. no2 is clear no3 = clear the alk 3.6 is this to high cal = 400 temp is 78 this is a 90 gal salt is 1.025 I have just a little hair algae but can't grow coralline algae what do I need to do to get some growing in my tank the tank been up for 2yrs now lights are vho please help if can bccscost@ bellsouth.net thanks for any help

Your water parameters sound very good - it seems as though you are doing everything right in that area.

However, how many watts of VHO lighting do you have? What kind of VHO lights are yo using? (daylight, actinics,etc.) How long are the lights on for each day?

You should have about 3 watts/gal of lighting and it should be balanced between a wide spectrum daylight type bulbs and some blue spectrum actinics for at least 8-10 hour photo-period.
