OK lets put this DSB number to bed. Do they clog, will they clog. Well IMO everything gets broken down into silt eventually. All the orgainics have been removed and what we are left with is the raw fiberous matereal, silt. What happens to Silt then, is it broken down further into a inert gas. Does it just form part of the DSB (unlikely due to particle size). But whatever happens is silt going to be building up in all of our systems, or are there little guys in the DSB that can remove the silt alltogether. If not then DSB's are all destined to become cloged with silt, unless the grain size is such that the silt sits ontop, or gets blown into the sump. Cummon guys, i know silts not that exciting but i think its something thats very rarely addressed, Pick your brains and post your points.
