I have the hannah checker too but the kit i ordered had a combo with phos so...

Hanna calcium and po4. I use the red sea pro for potassium magnesium and the essentials.

I use Hanna for alk not calcium. Calcium is too much of a pita for the Hanna. I use the rsp for that as well.

I own API but I rarely test using it. I just bring my water to the petstore to check. I bring it to different stores that use different kits.

Phos == hanna checker
Cal == hanna checker
alk == hanna checker
Mag == never test
PH == never test
Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite...... I do not test these after the tank cycled.
