the best thing to do is go to filterbag.com i buy then in bulk.
you can use them for 1/2 weeks then toss it comes to $2.73 per bag with
shipping. no more washing or rinsing. the reef remains super clean

before you put it in the tank, soak it overnight in ro/di water
the first time i didn't and the skimmer went nuts

why would u toss them? thats a big waste of money. Just wash them in the machine and use them again.
