Hi Mike. Hope the rodi is working out well for you.
Unfortionately I am looking specifically for a mag3. My sump is finally setup and unfortionately I bought a return pump with too much flow. It's dialed down with a ball valve, but this is causing some bubbles. A mag3 is the perfect rate.

Got an idea i got a mag 3 but if the mag 5 will work better on my remora skimmer ill help you guys out.

The mag5 might just work ok on the Pro. I'd be a little concerned about microbubbles on the return. Perhaps you could take a test drive for a few days with the mag5?

microbubbles i get alittle with the mag 3 i have the bubble trap but its too big it takes up so much space.
So if i put mag 5 i could end up getting more microbuubles
