Some one posted that the HD on 3rd ave and 57th, next to Bloomie's, has some. You may want to call them.

Thanks Mike! I called the Garden Dept and the "rep" there said they don't carry "50lb bags of tropical play sand or anything called southdown." Grrr Now I have to make a trip and hope they still have some in stock.

i brought from the Home Depot in Staten Island as i looked all over in Brooklym
this was 6-7 months ago tho...
but worth a try if you can't find it anywhere else

I was just in the Home Depot by the Goethals Bridge in Staten Island and they didn't have any. All they had was the Play Sand Sakrete puts out.

I'm going to check the other Home Depot tonight.
