If anyone has or knows where I could buy/trade for several aiptasia eating Berghia Nudibranches in NYC please reply. I would also be interested in participating in a group order for some. I've read all over that they will eat all the aiptasia anenomes in my tank. Joe's juice keeps them at bay but in my experience does not wipe them out.

Thanks! [email protected]

Ronen,
How many berghia nudis did you have in what size tank?

I've heard that peppermint shrimp may eat the aiptasias but they can also eat corals as well. Anyone ever had that problem?

I'm afraid the pepp shrinps will attack my corals.:banghead:

they shouldnt ,unless you buy camel shrimp by accident .

I tried 2 or 3 nudis the 1st time ,then tried 4 or 5 the last time ,basically they are now are part of reef heaven .I think you must have a tank with only apitasia and no fish or corals ,then they may live :smash:

So in your opinion peppermint shrimp are a good way to go to keep aiptasia in check? Do you also use Joe's Juice or find its now not necessary?

IMO ,they are a hit or miss .

I use joes juice ,kalk paste and this company call blue vet .all work great..nothing better then a true preditor thou.

Some ppl have success with pepps some with CCB and some with racoon fish if im not mistaken .again all hit and miss some may eat some may adapt to frozen or dry food .all up to the fish/invert
