Anyone out there selling a 48" Coralife or Current 250W HQI fixture (complete) not looking for Retro.

No prob dude, it may not be worthwhile or even possible but hey it's worth a try :biggrin:

just got off the phone with them. The electronic ballast would be external because they would be bigger. Not a problem. But the price is crazy! $125 each for the ballast, sockets $42 each bulbs XM mention $75 each over $500 just to upgrade. Crazy!! I might as well by retro and do a canopy. Let me know if you know who is selling one.

YOu could always sell your current one and then order a new one. Having no lights on the tank for a few days to a week will be ok. If you order from premium aquatics their UPS ground gets here in two to three days. An MR vender may be even quicker.
