Does any one have any test kits that they dont need anymore? If i were to buy one is there any kits thats like a master test kit...tests ammonia, ph and nitrite and all that...What about kh/calcium testers? Where can i get cheap ones? Thanks

Don't get red sea. They're just too inacurate.

Go with salifert or even better (and much more expensive) LaMotte.

This place has great prices on Salifert. I did a group buy this spring.

And depending on how new your tank is, you'll need
Nitrite
Nitrate
Ammonia
Calcium
Alk
ph (if you don't ahve a meter)

Also what would be helpful
Magnesium
phosphate
copper ( if you're unsure about it in your tank)

Nothing like FW is right ,With saltwater you now are in the world of AWW,you can do what you like ,any colors ,sizes ,corals,,
remember you are in one of the top 10 most expensive hobbies ,

Once your tank has cycle and is running you really only need to test Ph, Nitrates, Cal and Alk. Some people test for Mag but it's you could probably skip it. PH, Cal and Alk are the big ones that you need to worry about. This is all for Reef tank for Fish tanks you need to really only worry about Ph and SG.
