New to Zoas

Hi all... I have just gotten some zoas and my question is they seem to not be opening up. They have been in my tank about a week and a half. I have placed them low in the tank on a frag shelf and feed Reef Roids once a week. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks...

I'd be concerned with the ammonia level. Not sure if that will effect your zoas. If you have fish or inverts any level of ammonia isn't good. What test r u using?

I am using ELOS test kit. Just retested. Its hard to tell exactly but I think my ammonia falls somewhere between 0 and .1 on the color chart.

Try moving them to a mid light location. Do you know approximately what light level they were in when purchased? You will want to try and get them as close to what they are used to as possible.
