Weekly Eye Candy #2

by | Jun 19, 2011 | Corals, Eye Candy | 0 comments

Time for another serving of some sweet eye candy! For most of my photos, I use a simple point-and-shoot Olympus that is waterproof to about 15 feet. This allows me to get it directly in the water and to eliminate any reflections from the surface or glass. This also allows me to get closeups of corals no matter where they are in the aquarium. As with most cameras, they need to be told to underexpose a little when shooting with aquarium lighting. For some reason their meters can’t seem to handle our powerful lights.
