0130_news_aquarium_KL_0001 Public aquariums don’t have to be multi-million dollar projects in order to educate and inspire children and adults. A great example of a mini public aquarium is the Newhall Aquarium in Santa Clarita California. This pint-sized facility is located inside a suburban strip mall. While to the outside eye the location and size seems more akin to a fish store. Open for just about a year, the aquarium boasts dozens of different species, ranging from tropical and stateside fish to more exotic offerings like an octopus. The Newhall Aquarium is a free of charge  aquarium looking to educate and inform its visitors on the wonders of marine life.
