A beautiful mess

I love the precision and perfectionism of Iwagumi aquascapes.  I love the vibrancy and composure of Dutch aquascapes.  But for me, only nature and jungle style aquariums can evoke a sense of, well, nature that brings the wild within the confines of our five glass panes.  There is tremendous beauty in this type of controlled chaos.  And while Iwagumi and Dutch aquariums are obviously carefully arranged, the same is true of nature and jungle aquariums despite their seemingly untamed appearance.  It’s not easy to recreate a natural scene that does not feel like it was done by the hand of man.
