Very unique looking fish. This fish can be very timid in captivity and a slow eater. When acclimated, it will eat almost any prepared foods offered. I feed mine a mix of frozen and pellet foods. I think it’s best to keep the ratio of pellet: frozen at 75:25, respectfully. Many aquarists do not realize how large these fish get as they are not seen at their adult sizes often. I’ve kept mine in reef tanks but they have nibbled on corals, especially duncans and zoos, so be careful if you risk it. Otherwise, these are pretty hardy fish when acclimated and fed a proper diet.
