All polyps on the Blueberry Diesel have dark blue colored polyp tentacles. These tentacles contrast sharply with the fluorescent green to cream white branch stems. Branch ends can also develop purple pigmentation. Corallites near branch ends can turn completely purple, but the typical pattern is too develop purple along the corallite edge.
