The Joe’s speciosa Acropora has a very interesting growth morphology. Corallites can develop flared edges and they can also grow into elongated tubular shapes. Branches are thin and the coral basically appears to be a hybrid species. Joe’s speciosa also develops bright blue polyps and bright blue corallite edges. Branch tips can also develop bright blue. When colored up, the coral is very colorful with an exotic shape or morphology.
