The Sweet and Sour Psammocora is very colorful at first glance. Is has a very bright lime green outer edge that can develop fairly wide. On closer examination the surface of the coral has pink colored corallite mouths that have an inner gold coloration. Tentacle hairs on the surface of the coral are golden colored.
